HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS
OVERVIEW
Children are the future of the world. Half of all mental health conditions start by 14 years of age, yet most cases go undetected and untreated. Children are particularly vulnerable to mental illness due to social pressures, discrimination, and socio-economic stressors. Yoga and social and emotional learning provide powerful tools for children to cope with uncertainties in life with power.
Our teacher training provides a solid foundation for understanding Child psychology in the developing years, bridging the gap between parents and children, understanding bodily and emotional changes, acceptance, challenges, mind management, asana, pranayama, and meditation for children. This course equips teachers with a novel, enjoyable-to-learn teaching techniques.
This program will cover:
Child-friendly Asana (yoga poses, partner poses, group poses), Pranayama (breathing techniques), and Meditation (including meditation and deep relaxation). Incorporating music, art, and stories into yoga classes. We are offering a digital version of all the artwork we designed in Lan Lan Yoga to empower you in your teaching and class management.
