Children store up extra energy during the day, even more so during quarantine. As of late June 2020, according to the CDC, nearly 63% of young people are reporting symptoms of anxiety or depression.

We believe that YOGA BINGO - Relaxing and Restoring can support reduce stress and bring happiness and connection for the whole family.

This is also what we see from our years of teaching experience with children.

YOGA BINGO

While yoga bingo can be played many ways, here is one way we like to play it:

Start with 2 players! One bingo board!

1. Players take turns calling yoga pose's name. Do the pose. Mark the squares where they call the pose.

2. The first player to get 5 of their marks in a row (up, down, across, or diagonally) is the winner.

EASY TO LEARN AND SAFE TO PRACTICE

The back of each instruction card breaks down each pose into four steps. You will see photos of our experienced yoga teacher demonstrating how to safely get into each pose. Each name of the poses were inspired by animals and nature while being fun and easy for children to memorize.

WITH THE BENEFIT OF RELAXING AND RESTORING

All the poses we selected in this collection have the benefit of restoring our body and relaxing the mind. Children could practice becoming still, focused, and self-aware. Once they have mastered these simple techniques, they can use them in any instance to stay calm and access their inner wisdom. 

You could choose an activity either from the leaflet provided with the game, Lan Lan Yoga's website, or just invent one of your own.

Digital Yoga Art Workbook with Bedtime Yoga Sequences

Our yoga teacher designed two bedtime yoga sequences for children. We have created a mindfulness Relaxing Yoga ART book for each sequence. It’s a great way to unleash the imagination. Children can learn these sequences by heart while completing their own booklet with their own design.

Risks and Challenges

The illustrations are complete and the cards and packaging are ready to be printed. We have sourced our printing house and they are ready to begin work as soon as the Kickstarter campaign is finished.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we expect some delay in the manufacturing timeline and shipping dates. We plan to keep everyone informed on where we are in the production process while also practicing our poses to keep in a positive state of mind.
