Hi! I'm Lan Lan, one of the creators of "Ancano", a colorful board game inspired by my students! I grew up in China, competed with millions of students in the hyper competitive Chinese school system, worked on wall street for over 8 years watching the global market roller coaster every day. Stress and Anger used to be "normal" in my everyday life. Everything changed for me when I learned Yoga, Meditation, and tools in Social and Emotional Learning. I became calmer, more focused, and more resilient. I'm a happier person. When I chose to teach children, I asked myself, what if I could have had these amazing tools at 8 years old? What would be possible if children could have these tools now? They are the future of the world.
Over 5 amazing years, I have been teaching. I traveled and trained in many schools, from India to the United States, from California to New York. My goal is to bring joy and peace to as many families as possible through social and emotional learning.
It's hard to believe that out of the thousands of board games out there, only 0.9% of them are related to social and emotional learning, not to mention managing anger! I'm thrilled to bring you this one of a kind game - "Ancano" with over 60 activities and questions for children to discover their emotions.
